Adult Buddhist Dharma Classes

Classes are open to all interested in learning about Buddhism.

When: Saturdays, March 11 through April 15, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00am.

Where: Classes will be held at Windward Buddhist Temple (Kailua Hongwanji Mission) located at 268A Kuulei Road, Kailua, HI 96734, across from the Kailua Public Library

Cost: None, however registration is required.

First Steps in Understanding Shin Buddhism

What is the Shin Buddhist way of living? Learn the terminology, concepts, rituals, and services of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism to understand how to find peace and happiness.

The goal of this 7-session course is to help newcomers to Jodo Shinshu (Shin) Buddhism gain a basic understanding of the terminology, concepts, and rituals in an informal, question & answer setting.

WHEN: Saturdays at 10 - 11:30 am, July 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, 27, and September 10, 2016

WHERE: Kailua Hongwanji Temple, 268A Kuulei Road, Kailua HI 96734

COST: $20 per person (tuition assistance and scholarship are available)
