Rodney Moriyama
Rodney Moriyama was born in Hawaii and has resided all over the United States, Europe, and in Japan. He has a BSE in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California (Berkeley).
His many experiences spanned three different careers with the IBM Corporation, The Queen’s Health Systems, and the Hawaii Department of Education. Although his primary responsibilities involved the application of technology solutions in large organizations, his focus has always been on the development of people, strategic planning and lifelong learning.
Rodney’s latest milestone was receiving Tokudo ordination in Kyoto on his 80th birthday in 2025. He has been designated as Tokudo Minister’s Assistant. Rodney is married with has children and four grandsons.
