The recorded In-Person Dharma Service will be posted weekly.
Dear Members & Friends
Aloha Everyone,
2023 has passed by quite rapidly. It was another year of interesting, exciting, and fun activities at WBT.
Sunday service attendance has surpassed pre-pandemic levels! The after-service intergenerational craft activities and bingo games are enjoyed by many. Rev. Barbara Brennan delivers most of the dharma messages, with temple lay members and guest speakers rounding out the schedule.
The first Sunday of each month is designated as 1st Sunday Family Service. Dharma messages for these services are geared toward children and families and it is followed by an intergenerational activity.
A Message from Rev. Brennan
Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Where did 2023 go? As we get older it seems the days pass much too quickly. Do we appreciate each day, or do they become forgotten with time?

We will be posting recordings of our Sunday Dharma services and special services on our YouTube channel. New services will be posted later on Sunday or Monday.
COVID-19 Temple Advisory
As of May 23, 2021, the City & County of Honolulu is allowing religious entities to open beyond Minimum Basic Operations. We have carefully reopened the temple and restarted many of the temple programs. Weekly In-person Sunday Dharma Services began in January 2022.
COVID-19 has provided us many opportunities to realize the Buddha’s teaching of impermanence, interdependency, and compassion as we all help each other through this global pandemic. Please follow the CDC guidelines and keep each other safe.
