Online Dana Day & Pet Memorial Dharma Service for Sunday, February 14, 2021 with a Dharma message by Rev. Dr. Bert Sumikawa at Windward Buddhist Temple.

Each year we celebrate Dana Day throughout the Hongwanji world. Dana, one of the Six Paramitas, is one of the most important practices in Mahayana Buddhism. It is selfless giving, with no thought of reciprocity.

Today is also our annual Pet Memorial Service. This is in gratitude to all our pets who teach us unconditional love and selfless giving. Full program below.
