Remembrance Dharma Service for Sunday, September 27, 2026 with a Dharma Talk by Raymond Takiue of Mo'ili'ili Hongwanji. This Jodo Shinshu Buddhist service was officiated by Raymond, a Certified Ministers Lay Assistant with Tokudo. Raymond shared his recent visit to the Buddhist Church of San Francisco and his adventures entrusting himself to a self-driving Waymo to navigate the streets of the city.
The monthly Remembrance Service is a time to honor family, friends, and even pets who passed away during the month of August or September, regardless of the year. This Jodo Shinshu Buddhist church service was recorded at Windward Buddhist Temple, a Shin Buddhist Temple in Kailua, Hawaii.
Join us at the 6th Annual Windward Mall Bon Dance on Saturday, October 3, 2026. We won't have a Sunday Dharma Service on Sunday, October 4 to give us time to rest and recover after the Bon Dance!
